CV One's procession manager, Jane Wynn, said: "We want the Godiva Procession to be a celebration of all aspects of the city's history and future.
"Our international links are important to us and many twinings have been solidarity links with war-torn places. It would be fantastic to see Russians, Americans and Chinese all walking together proud to be representing themselves and their countries as part of the city's Godiva Festival."
