Private Eye editor and Have I Got News For You star Ian Hislop wants us all to have a 'Merry Credit Crunch Christmas' while Neighbours actor Alan Fletcher (aka Doctor Karl) passes on a message from his screen wife Susan.

Other celebrities sending their best wishes include pop star Will Young, Grange Hill actor Lee McDonald and Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips.

Talking of that programme, we also have a message from Stuart and Rosemary Chambers, the parents of winning dancer Tom Chambers.
