Seven years on from his 'Pop Idol' triumph, Will Young can be proud of quite an impressive listing in the Guinness Book of Hit Singles. With memorable hits like 'Leave Right Now' and 'Changes' under his belt, the award winning 29-year-old has racked up almost a dozen top 10 hits and scooped a Brit award for Best Breakthrough Artist. He's currently on a theatre tour of the UK and appeared on Ed George's programme to 'encourage' people to see him play live in Nottingham.
Help playing audio/video The interview included the revelation that Will enjoys playing smaller venues as it allows him to avoid elaborate dance routines and he also admits he prefers not to mime because he 'often forgets his lyrics'. Will also tells Ed he's not a big fan of Christmas and New Year so will simply spend the yuletide period 'eating chocolate and watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'.
