You're
a relatively new band? Red
House was formed in August 2004, although we're all experienced
musicians who have worked together before in various projects.
We've named ourselves after a Jimi Hendrix track - we thought it
sounded good.

Monique
Wengler |
Tell
us who's who in the band... Monique
Wengler is our lead vocalist then there's Ray Delamare on bass and
vocals, James Yeoman on guitar and vocals and our drummer is Simon
Williams.
We're all fantastic on our own - but when we play together the chemistry
is electric, dynamic, spontaneous, dangerous. Everything we want
to be!
Tell
us about the track you want us to demo.. Blues For Love is written about someone who falls in love
with someone - but the other person doesn't have a clue.
What do you think
of the current music scene? Live
music is more important than ever - as recorded music has been devalued
by the Internet - but we need more and better venues.
We had a great gig at The Junction in Plymouth in September 2004.
We played to a packed house with a big PA that sounded great. The
band played and sang fantastically. A real blast!
If
you become famous, what would you do? We would always play live and NEVER mime to our
songs. We would rather wash our hair! Performance is everything!
What
do you consider the highs and lows of living in Devon?
We are Plymouth based and love the country and coastline - but motivating
people is hard work.

Who
would you invite to a dinner party (you can choose three people
from past or present, fact or fiction)? Jimi Hendrix,
Stevie Ray Vaughan and John Bonham - just because we'd love to hear
them play - and play with them.
