Upcoming UK soul talent Bluey Robinson is generated significant hype for his debut single I Know. Says Ronnie Herel of 1Xtra's RnB show, "Bluey was first brought to my attention on a YouTube clip singing Stevie Wonder tunes to some random and rather worried people on the London Underground, but I immediately recognised he had star quality."

This talented singer-producer is a leading light of the UK Funky movement, his tracks Party Hard, Devil In A Blue Dress and African Warrior have become anthems in the scene. 1Xtra's UKG specialist Cameo says "Donae'O has had an absolutely phenomenal year. A sensational singer, mc and producer, his live performances are electric. There is no way we could 'Party Hard' without him."

Blame is an original junglist with releases on Moving Shadow, Good Looking, Metalheadz and Hospital records. His collaboration with vocalist Selah 'Because Of You' is one of 2009's hottest D&B plates. 1Xtra's D&B don Bailey says, "Blame is a producer who has been making anthems from day one. Adding Selah to the mix with her wicked vocals was a masterstroke. Where else better to showcase Blame's music live, than at the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Electric Proms."

With a sound that draws from roots and dancehall Gappy Ranks is an upcoming UK reggae talent. Selected for the After Party by 1Xtra's specialist selecter Robbo Ranx.

Marvell are a much hyped Grime collective who were picked for the After Party by 1Xtra's hip hop specialist Semtex. Says the DJ, "Marvell are the future. They can write, produce, perform, create video, and more. They've got the schools & colleges on lock and the internet going nuts. 2010 they're gonna walk through that door that Chipmunk kicked in."
