PINS are one of four 大象传媒 Introducing acts invited to play at 6 Music Festival following support from their local show in Manchester.
PINS are Faith Holgate, Anna Donigan, Lois Macdonald and Sophie Galpin, who came together in early 2011 and take pride in a sound they describe as 'a mix of post-punk, fuzzed up garage and a rock 'n' roll.
The group run their own 'Haus of PINS' label, self-releasing their material as well as that of other bands from the UK and Europe. Like their music and promo videos, the label is run with a great deal of thought,style and attention to detail, producing limited runs of cassette tapes to market the music.
Their first album, Girls Like Us, was released in 2013 and was followed by tours across the UK, France, Belgium, Switzerland and wider Europe. They have also been the support act for Warpaint, Savages, Mikal Cronin and Best Coast.
