Join Mary King and members of the 大象传媒 Singers for a practical introduction to this late work of Jan谩膷ek 鈥� written in his seventies but full of life-affirming joy. Together you鈥檒l explore the rhythmic patterns that are typical of the composer, and do a little vocal dancing! The piece is full of energy 鈥� a great opportunity to delve into the Czech language too.
This workshop is open to ages 16-plus. The ability to read music is an advantage but not a pre-requisite. This workshop is an introduction to Prom 9 on Thursday 24 July. For details about booking Proms tickets click here.
