THE YEAR WITH THE RAIN AND THE LASER SHOW Again, there was CND involvement, with an Anti CND plane flew overhead during Bruce Kent's speech (banner said Support CND, Back the Russians). This year was a muddy year with lots of bad weather. In fact, the highest rainfall for a single day in 45 years was recorded on the Friday.
