The 大象传媒 SSO鈥檚 leader Laura Samuel and associate leader Kanako Ito, are the featured soloists in Bach鈥檚 sparkling Double Concerto, and conductor Martyn Brabbins brings a work from the Argentinian Alberto Ginastera, composed in 1953: eleven variations with an Argentinian atmosphere culminating in a thrilling virtuoso dance. The evening ends with Schumann鈥檚 Fourth Symphony, one of the most exhilarating works in the Romantic repertoire.
