Loneliness Antidote

The lovelorn poetry found in Ed Harcourt’s pleadings can melt even the hardest heart.

With five albums under his belt and a Mercury nomination for 2001's debut Here Be Monsters, Harcourt is the master of creating tracks packed full of soaring piano riffs, impassioned guitar and melodies with a lightness of touch.

Musically in the vein of Jeff Buckley and Neil Finn, he's become a cult favourite through opening for REM and Wilco, plus a much sought after collaborator for the likes of Graham Coxon, Jamie Cullum and Patti Smith.

Latest album Back Into The Woods was released at the beginning of the year on CCCLX, a new label set-up by the founder of Drowned in Sound and notorious taste-maker Sean Adams. The apple of Glastonbury’s eye - make a date with Harcourt at Worthy Farm
