About This Event
Location: Recital Room, Glasgow City Halls
FUJI||||||||||TA is a sound artist living in Japan. He creates his sound art and music by reconfiguring various natural phenomena with purpose-built mechanisms. In 2009, FUJI||||||||||TA hand-fabricated an original musical object: a pipe organ inspired by the Japanese tradition of Gagaku. His music performances consist of water sounds synthesised from multiple aquariums alongside his pipe organ and voice.
FUJI||||||||||TA鈥檚 installation will be accessible in the Recital Room throughout the weekend but there are also specific performances at 18.15 on Saturday 30 April and 17.15 on Sunday 1 May. These will have a strictly limited capacity.
Please register for these performances at the Box Office on the day of performance. Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
