Model Aeroplanes are four friends from Dundee who’ve been making music in various incarnations since they were 13. Now 18, they released their first single Crazy last September, a perfect introduction to their honest and exuberant indie, built on a love of Foals, Bombay Bicycle Club and Beach Boys.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway is a massive fan and had them in for a ´óÏó´«Ã½ Introducing session last March, heaping praise on their ‘chiming guitars, harmony vocals and rock-solid rhythm section’.
Last year they played the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Introducing Stage at T In The Park in what was only their eighth gig ever. Knowing them as a band that continue to grow from strength to strength, it’s going to be very exciting to see what they do in Glasgow.
