Leon Else is a 24-year old singer-songwriter hailing from Margate, Kent.
Like many young musicians, his route into the music industry began on MySpace. After uploading a handful of tracks, producers were in touch straight away to grab some recordings in the studio. There鈥檚 no doubt they were instantly absorbed by his dark, RnB-led style, as well as his smooth and drawing vocal.
Leon cites his musical references as James Blake and Drake, which is completely evident when you listen to his track Protocol. This same track spent a week on the Radio 1 Playlist at the end of 2013 when it was chosen as the Introducing playlist track of the week, capturing audiences on the daytime Radio 1 programmes.
Prior to this, Leon had already found a fan in Huw Stephens, who discovered Protocol and immediately snapped it up as his 大象传媒 Introducing Discovery and blogged about his love for the track on our Introducing blog.
