It’s an incredible 15 years since Kings Of Leon first started out and the band of brothers (well, and one cousin) from Tennessee have pulled together an impressive ‘done it’ list in that time.
From critical and commercial success and headlining festivals across the world, including Glastonbury in 2008, to picking up all manner of awards, the four piece have cemented their place in the rock and roll annals. With six albums to choose from and singles (including Sex On Fire, Use Somebody and The Bucket) which still sound as raw and fresh as they did upon first release.
Their most recent album Mechanical Bull, including lead single Supersoaker, was released in 2013 and went straight to No. 1 in the UK. The band will follow their date in Glasgow with summer stadium shows across the UK and Ireland and another headline set at Isle Of Wight Festival.
Just when you thought they couldn’t get any bigger…
