About This Event

Winner of the Elgar Society medal, Conductor Laureate Tadaaki Otaka celebrates his 30th year with ´óÏó´«Ã½ NOW and his 70th birthday with an all Elgar programme at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Hoddinott Hall. Opening with Cockaigne, mezzo Catherine Wyn-Rogers then joins for Sea Pictures, and the concert closes with In the South – Elgar’s evocative tone poem, set in the Italian south.

*Please note, Catherine Wyn-Rogers is no longer able to perform due to illness. We're thrilled contralto Claudia Huckle will feature as today's soloist.
