‘As grand and mysterious as the Big Bang itself’ concluded Pitchfork when Florence Welch – aka Florence + The Machine – released her debut album 15 years ago, a year after attracting the attention of ´óÏó´«Ã½ Music Introducing. The BRIT Award-winning Lungs immediately announced Florence as an artist of huge courage, theatricality and vocal abilities – earning her a place on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 1’s prestigious ‘Sound of ...’ list. For her Proms debut, she joins Jules Buckley and his Orchestra for a celebration of Lungs, and of the compelling poetry and music of this singular artist in whom the darkly gothic meets all that glistens.

Day Promming Information
• Day Promming tickets will be available from 10.30am on the day of the Prom.
• Please note there will be no in person sales of day promming tickets for Prom 69, tickets can only be purchased online. Please do not arrive at the Hall to join the entry queue before you have purchased your ticket.
• A maximum of two tickets per person can be booked.
• ID checks will be in place. The lead booker must have official photo ID that matches the name on the ticket to gain entry to the Hall.
• If you have purchased two (the maximum) day tickets you both must arrive at the same time.
• Overnight queueing is not permitted.
• If you wish to queue for your preferred standing place within the Arena or Gallery you can collect a queue number from outside Door 12 from midday on the day of the Prom. You must already have purchased your ticket in order to collect a queue number.
