Last seen in Maida Vale for 6 Music five years ago when she teamed up with Heaven 17 to perform a stunning rendition of 鈥楾emptation鈥�, La Roux needs no introduction to 6 Music listeners.
Bursting onto the scene in 2009 when 'In For The Kill' (helped by a Skream remix) became a huge hit, her eponymous debut LP was one of the year's musical highlights.
In the 5 years that followed, Elly Jackson (as she鈥檚 known to her mum) has toured the world and written a brand new set of electro pop classics for her new, long awaited album 鈥楾rouble In Paradise鈥� released this summer.
The first fruits from the record 鈥楿ptight Downtown鈥� and 鈥楰iss And Not tell鈥� have been all over 6 Music and fresh from a packed performance at Bestival, we can鈥檛 wait to see her new material in Maida Vale.
