Singer-Songwriter Dan Hyde is having a whirlwind 2014 so far. There aren’t many 18-year olds who are celebrating completing their A Levels with a performance at Glastonbury, and Dan’s individuality doesn’t end here.
Not many 18-year olds can say that their birthday celebrations included a phone call from the music team at Radio 1 to say that their song had been added to the Radio 1 playlist, but we’re certainly happy that Dan’s did, with his track My Door gracing the airwaves for a week with his beautifully soft vocals, light percussion layers and a subtle guitar accompaniment.

Dan’s meticulous and precise musical structure demonstrates his clear musical vision and at such a young age, you can expect to see a lot more from him this year and into the future so make sure you stay ahead by seeing him at Glastonbury On Friday.
