Baroque pop quartet

Electronic group Clean Bandit get their Glastonbury wellies out for the first time this summer and we’ve a strong hunch that they might be one of the biggest surprise hits at Worthy Farm. The Cambridge group, who create ‘baroque pop’ fusing electronic beats and classical instrumentation have built a massive fan base since their debut single Mozart’s House. While the reaction to the single, which many felt was a one-off novelty, was mixed, there’s no disputing their progress since.

Fourth single Rather Be scored the group their first UK No. 1 and gave their album, New Eyes, a timely boost ahead of its release in June. Support from Radio 1 DJs including Greg James, Fearne Cotton and Zane Lowe has placed Clean Bandit close to many hearts and on many playlists.
