About this event
´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 3’s Friday Night is Music Night is all about melody and tonight at Fairfield Halls conductor Helen Harrison and the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra have their feet planted in the streets and fields of British folksong. All the music has one thing in common – you can’t help humming those tunes!
Two of the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra's brightest stars Ileana Ruhemann and Anne Denholm play Mozart’s enchanting Flute and Harp Concerto. There’ll be tuneful delights by Ruth Gipps, Hoagy Carmichael and John Williams, too - presented with style (and a smile) by jazz legend Clare Teal.
