Four local poets have been commissioned by the ´óÏó´«Ã½ & the Kirkby Lonsdale Poetry Festival to write on Ruskin’s View. The famous beauty spot in the town of Kirkby Lonsdale overlooks the River Lune and is one of the most celebrated landmarks in Cumbria.

Local poets Katie Hale, Karen Lloyd, Hannah Hodgson and Matt Sowerby have been commissioned to provide their own creative response to Ruskin’s View, exploring the landscape through the perspective of their own personal experience of the view and their relationship with it.

The poets discuss their creative responses in a CSL live video stream session on Saturday at 12:30 - Ruskin's View Panel Discussion.
