Keep It Going Louder

A project started by Diplo and DJ Switch about a fictional, one-armed Jamaican ex-commando and nightclub owner, Major Lazer was born in 2009 with album Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do. Featuring killer singles Hold The Line and Pon The Floor, their eclectic carnival sounds have since been remixed by Thom Yorke and sampled by Beyoncé - such is the universal appreciation of their kaleidoscopic beats.

Since Switch's departure, DJ/Producer Jillionaire and Walshy Fire have been part of the Lazer massive. Recently working with Snoop Lion on his reggae album, their next album Free the Universe includes collaborations with Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Tyga and Mr Lover Lover himself, Shaggy.

Producing hyperactive tracks by the bucket load, Major Lazer are bringing dancehall vibes to fields across the UK this summer.
