The culmination of a ´óÏó´«Ã½ SO Learning project sees a free performance on the Barbican FreeStage.

As part of the Total Immersion celebrations exploring the music of Villa Lobos, the ´óÏó´«Ã½ SO Learning team have created an exciting new piece, ‘Contracanto’, inspired by the music of Villa Lobos.

The piece combines massed forces of children’s voices, samba drummers, young instrumentalists, a brass band and a big family chorus. Come along and hear us perform it on the Barbican FreeStage (the foyer space on the ground floor). It's free!
