Hi all,
This is not really a story but more of a call for help and a offer too help. I been collecting various WW2 photo's and related material for some time and my collection is growing in number. I try to reasearch most of the material that I obtain but there comes a time when you just seem to come up against a brick wall. I have in my collection numerous photos of soldiers/places and vehicles some of which I have been able identify and some I can not. Maybe some of these pictures could be of your Dad/Granddads/Uncles regiments and places that they have visited during their travels. I would love to be able to put some names to some of these faces. I have attached to this message a picture of Colour Sgt A.A. Magee who served with the 2/6th Queens Royal Regiment/56th London Division (Black Cats). I know who C/Sgt Magee is but who are the others. More of my collection can be view at www.eightharmy.ww2site.com and I hope they will bring some pleasure to ex-vets and their families and hopefuly some names can be put to some more faces.
