Was Born in Chipping Norton and I never joined the army though I remember one day me and my friend went to Risborough on bicycles we saw some planes almost crush into us but landed into the fields next to us and many army men were coming out running but never did anything to us before we could figure anything we saw other two planes come down on us but one of them crushed into a tree in kings park ,after the war all the bomb shells were cleared off , had know one in the army apart from friends and unfortunately they were all killed in the war, for me I was a farmer saw I spent most of my time farming and I would sale all my crops to the mill campanies, but on the d-day when the war ended I remember we gave out food free to people for celebrations we went to the streets and ate ,celebrated all day and a few of my mates who had survived the war came down to see us it was really good.
