Jayne Stevenson is 24 years of age and this is what she told us about the war.She had to cope well, she had a little girl and her mum to take care of.she helped with ammunitions. she had a very good love life.she says there was many funny times for example: one was when a lady was running while the sirens were going off to go to the airade shelter. she was shouting, "i've been, i've been hit" over and over, but she hadn't been hit she just had two legs through one knicker hole and couldnt run properly. The bad thing that happened to her was her mother died.she didnt try to pull any pranks or cause much trouble.Jayne didnt learn anything or learn a lesson after causing any problems. The worst thing she says that happened to her was her mother when she died. The best thing that happened to Jayne was that she met her husband. At the time of the world war i was in north shields. we weren't evecuated though.we asked Jayne if she had to leave her hometown or city. she replied by saying "not really anfter my mum died i left my home to join the air force.
