Leather Bound Album
Hello,
MY name is James Tyerman born 1942,my father is ginger Tyerman born 1919.he served in The Gordon Highlanders during ww2 with the 51st division, as such I am in possesion of his leather bound photograph album, he obviously had a local burmeese scribe the stags head on the front with the words "The Lads Of 170".
The album is approx 6 x 4 and contains around 60 photographs, some named some un named. I have not discovered what 170 means and it was the recent television documentary "Peoples War hill 170 " that re ignited my curiousity some nemes in the album are as follows:

Danny Carrol Durham
Abby Taylor Aberdeen
Jimmy Shields York
Jack Craig Glasgow
Frank Bruce Turrif ?
Spud Thomson ?????
Billy Brooks Andy Wilson (look like twins )

Jimmy Engles
The album contains many "Company Shots " but sadly no names. I have a printer consequently if this information needs passing on,it would be my pleasure to comply
