Pillbox on Sicilian coast (Pantalica?)

I thought this was a a nostalgic picture taken by me about 40 years ago. Italian friends told me it was where the allies landed (and looks like where Alan Whicker was standing in his interesting film on the subject)so maybe it is still there.
