Crossing the line ceremony, Addu Atol, September 1944.

Some of the crew from HMS Wager enjoying themselves during the crossing the line ceremony. My father, David H Savin, was a torpedo man aboard wager, and we recently found a stash of old photos. A few, like this one, he had put a caption on the reverse, dating it exactly.

Your father has left a valuable collection of photos - many thanks for sharing them and I hope you do have contact from other survivors.
