Schools had their quota of evacuees. I remember the ones at Earlswood, especially those that walked to and from school a similar way to me. They were there when I arrived and by the time I moved to Llangwm school they had more or less become integrated. I had an idea that one of the teachers at Llangwm came with the evacuees.
