While working in a shop the first batch of
Spam and Prem came in believe it or not it was
banned by the food inspectors because it
contained sodium ,i was 14 at the time i saw
a lot of American rubish sent over to this country they must have a field day getting rid
of there old stock

I'm 48. My dad was in field artillery in France and Germany. My grandfather fought Bolos. in Russia in 1919 under English command.

Sorry we disgust you. I'd rather eat Spam than not eat. I just finished Churchhills memoirs. You might want to read them too. Things were tough then.

A soldier from an Army Reserve unit in our town was killed in Iraq two days ago. Left a wife and two little kids. Sometimes you give up things sometimes you give up everything.

Read about Chamberlain. Maybe if he had done the right thing..

There were a lot of millionaires created out of the war in the US. But it wasn't just the food imports. Does anyone remember the armaments, in particular, the 'Tommy Cookers'?(Tanks).
