I met my Husband on the tram in Oldham. He got up to let me sit down. Three months later I bumped into him, walking to the park. He asked me to go for a walk with him. He then went to Dunkirk and the next time I saw him was when he came back in 1940 and we got married. I then lived in
N.I. with him and came back to England for D. Day and then I didn't see him again until 1946. We stayed together then for 64 years.
