Very proud to be a British Red Cross Member Junior Detachment, Surrey 510. Passed three examinations to gain the Red Cross on my apron. They were Home Nursing, First Aid and Infant Welfare.
On a field day four of us won the cups in demonstrations and raising cash for Christmas parcels for captives abroad.
After my five years of duty my voluntary work has continued to this day and hope to continue till my passing.
I am involved with Royal British Legion, Street Collecting, Church cleaning, Community sewing, and just recently I raised 拢60 for the British Legion selling bric-a-brac from a stall.
I am also available to help The Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team - to name but a few.
