This story goes back to l939/40, when I was 8/9 years of age and was attending Quarry Hill Infants School, Grays Essex. The class I was in had a lady teacher who would get the glass to write essays on members of our family who were in any part of the armed forces. At the end of each lesson she would get us to do the Nazi salute. No one realised that anything was amiss until one child stood up and done the salute at Sunday School. This was immedaitely reported to the police. The Police came to my parents house and questioned me.
They asked me for the name of another member of the class, which I duly gave them.
After this I did not hear what had happened. The teacher never appeared at school and no explanation was ever given. I just wondered with your research if you would be able to find the answer
