this is an account of lotti minstrall ww2 memories as told to by liam barnett aged 16 from holden lane high school i had made bullits and shells in an amunition factory. we had to wear turbans to stop our hair going yellow.we were not allowed to wear hair clips because the metal would react. we had to have coupons for clothes but if you had big feet you could have extra coupons and we also had sweet coupons and and also biscuit coupons. we had to make our own entertainment because their were no televisions and would haved to cue for hours to see pictures and for food. most of the food was rationed. when the war was over we had street parties
