In 1941 i was eight years old and was returning from the school room to the main house.I was passing a field and this very tall man came out of the field dressed in a fliying suit and he asked me to take him to the police station. He gave me his pistol and i walked down the road to the police station with him and some local pepole told me to keep away from him but i stayed with him becuase there was no one in the police station and eventuly the police turned up and took him away. He spoke very good english and was very polite to me and to the police when they arived. I presumed he parachuted down as he was not injured.Brian White has given permission.Brian White is aware of what this story is used for.
