I was the youngest of 7, Irene, Marjory, Jack, Wilfred, Lavender, Trevor. I was born in 1942. I was a whipping block for them all. What I remember most, is the handing down of clothes and that.
We had to do odd little jobs around the house. Never any new clothes or shoes. Whether they fit you or not you had to wear them.
