Ernest Wood in Kandy, Ceylon.
Ernest was in the RAF as ground crew, bomb armourer. Previously he was Head Teacher of Netherseal C of E School when he was called up in 1940 and posted abroad in 1942. He served in india and Ceylon before returning home in 1945, just before Christmas. This photo is outside the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy. Ernest is in the middle of the group.
