I was in Binley on the night of the Blitz and when the bombs fell I hid under the table even though there was a shelter in my back garden. As a child the war seemed like one big adventure and the bomb sites created a ready make play area for us!
I was also briefly evacuateed to Lillington near Leamington Spa but I only stayed for two months before retuning to Coventry where I stayed for the rest of the war.
