I can remember my Mum telling me that she used to dodge bullets whilst walking down the street with two babies in the pram.
She said that she would pray that the pram didn鈥檛 get hit because she had Dad鈥檚 suit at the bottom of the pram that she was taking to the pawn shop.
She was more worried about the suit getting hit and being worthless than us!
One night we decided to go to a different bomb shelter for a change, and the one that we should have gone to got hit.
My Dad rushed to the site and pulled out the only survivor, but she died later. When we got home later that night someone had taken all of our furniture.
