Gas masks were an awful ordeal, we had to go tot eh fire station and be fitted with the masks. Luckily I wasn鈥檛 allergic to rubber then but I am now. At that age, 10, it was awful at first when we tried them on, as you felt suffocated, but at that age we had a bit of a laugh about it.
