Doodle Bug Over Corringham — Save the Dog.
We heard the Doodle Bug approaching, on its way to London.
We went to the door to look for it and through a break in the clouds right above our heads we saw it. Then the engine cut out. All four of us dived back in doors, grabbed the dog (a large retriever) pushed her under the table, and managed to get our heads under with her. Lucky for us the Doodle Bug didn’t go into a dive, it drifted on for five miles.
