I remember being put under the table that was like a cage shelter. I was very young at the time and living in Great Fransham near Dereham in Norfolk. A Doodlebug, that would have been a V1 or V2 went over the village and landed on a local farm a few hundred yards away. I can remember the noise. That would have been in 1944 or ’45.
