For people who are interested to read about the background of a WW2 monument in Holland, made in the honour of fallen CANADIAN crewmembers of a VICKERS WELLINGTON bomber, I've a website: www.home.zonnet.nl/holland.artist
These Canadians were shot down above Holland by a German nightfighter during their mission on their way back to England after they've drobbed bombs above Germany. This happened in May 1943.
I would like to invite you to visit my website. I'm the artist of the monument, which was unveiled by the Canadian ambassador Mr. April in 2002.
It is a big honour for me to be involved in this project.
Kind regards, Edwin Merks
