I was born 3 weeks prematurely in Norwich in 1940. My Mother thought it was the result of an air raid. I grew up at Sparham Rectory where I lived with my Grandfather. One of my earliest recollections as a small child were the showers of silver foil (used to deflect radar) raining down on the lawn.
