John (Paddy) Mould 3536496 1st Batt. Manchester Regiment, C Company joined 18th August 1940 as a machine gunner but was put with signals corp. He was admitted to Alexandra Hospital, Singapore on 14/15th February 1942, suffering from malaria.
Japanese forces moved in and killed everyone without bandages. Hilda received a letter 4 years later on 8th April 1946 to explain the above. This followed a missing report that was received in 1942.
Hilda would like to know if anyone knew him or could tell her more of the time when Singapore fell on 15th February 1942.
