one night in winter 1943 a concert was on in the village of llanuwchllyn, many people came from all around the county, and that's a lot of people!!! some of them were reallated to me and my friend. It was very dark and because of all the cars and people they had to use their headlights and ignore the blackout rules. Of course because they were in the country they didn't think about Natzi aeroplanes coming their way, but oh they were wrong. my great uncle was nearly hit by a bomb.

Hello Football!

I was intrigued by your wee story, but would like to know a lot more. Could you extend it a bit? I went through a blitz and found afterwards that there were many people with stories to tell of that dreadful night.

Now, no harm intended, but do you have a spell checker on your computer? If you have, it might be a good idea to use it â€” mis-spellings tend to put some people off reading.

Anyway, hope to hear a lot more from you now. Incidentally, I'm intrigued by your 'Football' name. I used to be a football reporter.
