As a recently married woman, November 11th 1939, my mum established herself in small dance-band which played in one of the rooms above the Three-horse shoes public house in Wickersley. From 1941, mum compiled a diary which detailed a mixture of the local, national and international situations.
We have chosen one page from these diaries which reflects the current happenings in 1941.
