We were living in West Bridgford, the sirens were going, my father couldn鈥檛 get me out of bed - I was a teenager. But I did get up and went into the shelter, you could feel the walls in the shelter moving and when we came out a house 3 doors down had taken a direct hit, it鈥檚 a good job I got out of bed. All our windows were broken and there was all soot in the house.
