I was born in London and I was 15 years old during the war. I was also in the London Blitz. I came down to Teversham because I had a sister who was in the Woman鈥檚 Land Army. I joined the Home Guard when I was 15 and when I was 18 I joined the Army. When I was in the Army I spent most the time with horses. I spent 4 and a half years in the Army and I served in Italy and Greece. The house that I lived was bombed and then my house was surrounded by dogs.
